Non disclosure agreements.

Waiting for an internal review by Dumfries and Galloway Council of their handling of this request.

Dear Dumfries and Galloway Council,

Please provide the following information:

1) How many Non Disclosure Agreements Dumfries and Galloway Council has entered into, or agreed, in each of the years ended 31 March 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. In the event 31 March is unsuitable as a year end please substitute another date which is appropriate.

2) Please provide individual figures for each year.

3) Please state the amounts of financial compensation awarded as part of the agreements for each of the years concerned in £.

4) In order to clarify, the term "Non Disclosure Agreement" is being used in the same sense it is being used by the House of Commons Women and Equalities Committee: an agreement that contains a confidentiality clause. They are also called "compromise agreements" and "settlement agreements".

Yours faithfully,

Susan Murray

Dear Dumfries and Galloway Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Dumfries and Galloway Council's handling of my FOI request 'Non disclosure agreements.'.

I refer to your response dated 9 October 2020. In your response to a previous FOI Act request concerning Legal Claims for breach of Public Sector Equality Duty, Section 149 Equality Act 2010, you stated that some of these claims were covered by confidentiality agreements:

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/l...

This is stated in your communication dated 24 August 2020, Item (2) third paragraph.

Please review the information you have given and provide full details accordingly.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/n...

Yours faithfully,

Susan Murray

Dear Dumfries and Galloway Council,

Once again it is necessary to remind you that you have failed to comply with the FOI Act in relation to this request. A request for Internal Review was made to you on 17 October 2020. In your acknowledgement you advised a response would be sent by 16 November 2020. It is now 1 December 2020 and the information is still outstanding. Please remedy this without further delay.

Yours faithfully,

Susan Murray
