Non Attending Students

Lev Bernstein made this Freedom of Information request to Croydon College

This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request is waiting for clarification. If you are Lev Bernstein, please sign in to send a follow up message.

Dear Croydon College,

In the interest of showing how you are improving please follow up a previous request by detailing:

how many full time students were enrolled for study during 2012-2013

how many full time students were confirmed on course for funding purposes during 2012-2013

how many of these full time students have not attended their courses since before November 1st

I have noted that of late you only seem to respond to FoI queries that you can reject. As a publically funded body you are under an obligation to respond to this request within a reasonable time. The conclusion, should you fail to do so, will be that you are trying to hide something about the state of your organisation.

Yours faithfully,

L Bernstein

Marsden, Paul, Croydon College

Croydon College has good reason to believe that that the requester is using a pseudonym to shield his/her identity in order to avoid the possibility of this request being considered as vexatious.

The name of the applicant in section 8(1)(b) of the FOIA indicates that the real name of the applicant should be used when requesting information and not any other name, for example, a pseudonym.

If this is not the case Croydon College will respond promptly to this FOI request through any appeal put to the ICO directly where the identity of the applicant would be confirmed. Requests involving known pseudonyms cannot be the subject of a valid complaint to the ICO under section 50 of the FOIA.
