Noise Complaints
Dear Sir/Madam,
Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information:
- The total number of complaints about noise that could be a ‘statutory nuisance’ under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, made during the 2021 calendar year
- The reason for each of the above complaints, for example noise from intruder alarms, noise from construction work etc

Due to the very sad news that broke last week, the funeral of HM Queen
Elizabeth II has been arranged for Monday 19^th September and this has
been designated as a bank holiday in England and Wales.
Therefore, your request was due to be answered by 27 September 2022,
however, the due date for this is now 28 September.

If you are not satisfied with our response to your request, you can ask
for an Internal Review. Internal review requests must be submitted within
two months of the date of receipt of the response to your original
request. If you wish to do this, please contact us in writing, setting
out why you are dissatisfied.

apply directly to the Information Commissioner (ICO) for a decision.
Generally, the ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the
