Dear University of Cambridge,

1) I would like data for each of the past five years.

2) I would like to know how many students who were first-year university students when they applied to Cambridge applied from each of the following countries.

countries - United States, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Taiwan

3) I would also like to know how many students were admitted from each of these countries.

4) I would also like this data specifically for the following courses:

a) M100 (law)
b) G400 (CS)
c) G100 (maths)
d) H100 (engineering)
e) L100 (economics)
f) L000 (HSPS)

For #4, I would like this data in the aggregate for each of the past five years, e.g., how many first-year university students worldwide applied in 2017 and were admitted to read HSPS, and I would also like this data segmented by the specific countries noted above if possible. This is especially important for M100, G400, and H100.

I realize this is a complicated question, although the answer may be relatively easy to query from your records. What I am trying to find out is how many students were able to successfully apply (in other words, were admitted) to Cambridge as freshmen/first-year university students from the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, ... I am trying to get the numbers who applied and the numbers who were admitted/made offers. I am not necessarily interested in how many decided to ultimately attend Cambridge, although it's fine to include this piece of data, too. For example, 100 freshman/first-year students in American universities applied to Cambridge, 3 were admitted/made offers; 30 were M100, 0 were admitted in M100; and so on.
