No brownfield sites considered for Commonwealth Games aquatic centre

The request was successful.

Dear Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council,

Please confirm why there were no brownfield sites considered for the construction of the Commonwealth Games aquatic centre and why only sites which are either green field sites or sites which are already sport centres were considered?

Yours faithfully,

Colin Clark

There are no suitable brownfield sites, in terms of size and geographic
location, within the area required to meet the needs of residents.

Kind Regards,

Ned
