Response:

Please find the Excel Workbook “Karun Ahluwalia FOI Response 20170505”
attached. Within this document are four spreadsheets containing the
information you have requested in parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 of your request.

In response to part 5 of your request, the average age of practitioners on
the Register as of 1^st April 2017 is 45.

With regards to the response to part 1 of your request, the data for
number of practitioners by nationality and number of practitioners by
country of training overlaps, this is why only one total value is shown.

Please be aware that values of 5 or lower have been removed from the
datasets in order to avoid the risk of individual registrants being
identified.

Please contact me if you have any queries relating to this information.

Thank you.

Karun Ahluwalia

Dear Robert Wickham,

Thank you very much for the information you have provided. For part 1; in relation to initial registrations would I be able to get a breakdown of Nurse and Midwife registration by country of training. Furthermore, in relation to part 2 of my request, can I also have a breakdown of effective practitioners by country of training for both Nurses and Midwives. If you can get this information to me as soon as possible this would greatly be appreciated!

Yours sincerely,

Karun Ahluwalia
