Dear Unite the Union South Tees NHS Branch,
We write further to your email dated 11 October 2019 where you requested
information from NHS Improvement under the Freedom of Information Act
2000.
We have established that some of the information may be exempt and we
require more time to conduct the public interest test.
Section 10(3) of the FOI Act 2000 enables an authority to extend the 20
working day limit up to a reasonable time in any case where;
o it requires more time to determine whether or not the balance of the
public interest lies in maintaining an exemption; or
o it needs further time to consider whether it would be in the public
interest to confirm or deny whether the information is held.
NHS Improvement will endeavour to provide you with a response by 6
December 2019.
Yours sincerely,
NHS Improvement
