NHS spending on KPMG and United Health

The request was partially successful.

Dear NHS England,
This is a Freedom of Information request for the following:

- All details of all contracts between Greater East Midlands CSU and UnitedHealth in the 2013/14 financial year .

Figures released by NHS England show that GEM CSU paid UnitedHealth £118,800 on 28 February 2014 for 'Consultancy services'. As this is a very broad term, please could you detail specifically what United Health was consulting on, as well as the dates it was contracted, the total value of the contract, and any other details relating to the work.

- All details of all contracts between Greater East Midlands CSU and KPMG.

Figures released by NHS England show that GEMS CSU paid KPMG £1,241,143 in the six months between October 2013 and March 2014 for 'Consultancy services'. Again, as this is a very broad term, please could you detail specifically what KPMG was consulting on, as well as the dates it was contracted, the total value of the contract, and any other details relating to the work. In addition KPMG was paid a further £94,720 by GEM CSU for 'Supplies and general services'. This is again very vague. Could you detail specifically what supplies and services KPMG provided to GEMS for the money.

Yours faithfully,

Tamasin Cave
