Dear NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board,
I would like to request some information about your budget for NHS patient treatment.
I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the following information:
1. The total amount of your budget for NHS patient treatment in the fiscal year 2023/2024.
2. The breakdown of this budget by business area or program.
3. The methods or tools you are using to evaluate the performance and outcomes of the services that patients receive as a result of the utilisation of this budget.
4. Any challenges or opportunities you face in managing this budget.

• Q1 – is this asking for the total operating budget for the ICB or only
budgets related to patient treatment? The operating budget covers all
of the ICB’s activity including staffing etc. See the 2022/23 Annual

clarify if this is seeking a budget for each Directorate – see the
