NHS Lothian vending machine contracts
Dear Lothian NHS Board,
The sale of confectionery and sugar-sweetened beverages from vending machines on NHS Lothian premises is made through an arrangement with third party contractors.
As a matter of public interest:
1. How many third party contractors operate such vending machines on NHS Lothian premises?
2. For the years 2017/2018 and 2018/2019, how much income was generated for NHS Lothian by each third party contractor as a result of the arrangement that permits third party contractors to install vending machines on NHS Lothian premises?
