NHS Hampshire/SHIP Primary Care ICT Strategy Board meetings

The request was successful.

Dear NHS Hampshire,

Thank you very much for all your previous FOI responses.

I would like to make further a request under the FOI Act.

For the purposes of the Act, please take the date of your receipt of this request as 31st August 2012.

• Please could you send me the minutes (and any referenced documents) of all NHS Hampshire/SHIP Primary Care ICT Strategy Board meetings held on or between 26th January 2012 and 31st August 2012.

As per Section 1(4) of the FOI Act
( http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000... ) I would like the information in question held at the time when my request is received (draft or otherwise), except that account may be taken of any amendment or deletion made between now and the latest time by which the information is to be communicated to me, being an amendment or deletion that would have been made regardless of the receipt of my request.

I would be grateful if you would be kind enough to send me the requested information promptly and in any event not later than the twentieth working day following the date of receipt of my request.

I wish to receive the information by email; I believe such a request would be reasonable in these circumstances. As per Section 11 of the FOI Act ( http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000... ) I would be grateful if you would "so far as reasonably practicable give effect to that preference"; if you determine that it is not reasonably practicable to comply with this preference then you are required by law to notify me of the reasons for your determination. As per the Act, I have provided you with a valid return address, namely the unique email address that this request originates from.

If my request is denied in whole or in part, or specific items within the responses are withheld from disclosure, then you must justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the act, as per Section 17 of the Act
( http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000... ). Where you rely on a qualified exemption to withhold disclosure, you are obliged to consider the public interest in your decision and the refusal notice must explain not only which exemption applies and why, but also the public interest arguments addressed in reaching the decision.

I would be grateful if you would kindly acknowledge receipt of this request as recommended by the ICO (“It would be good practice to acknowledge receipt of requests and to refer to the 20 working day time limit, so that applicants know their request is being dealt with”).

Thank you once again.

Yours sincerely,

Dr Neil Bhatia

FOI (HPCT)*,

Dear Dr Bhatia

Thank you for your email of 31 August 2012 requesting the minutes of all NHS Hampshire/SHIP Primary Care ICT Strategy Board meetings held on or between 26th January 2012 and 31st August 2012.

I am pleased to acknowledge your enquiry on behalf of:

• Hampshire PCT

Your request is being dealt with under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and will be answered within twenty working days.

Emerging Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG)
Whilst the authorisation process for CCGs is in progress, the four PCTs within the area covered by the Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Portsmouth PCT Cluster remain the relevant public authorities to whom the Freedom of Information Act 200 applies. If your enquiry has been addressed to any of the emerging CCGs it will therefore be handled as an enquiry to one of the PCTs, however we will endeavour to provide information appropriate to that CCG as part of the response.

If you have any queries about this email, please contact me quoting the reference number above in any future communications.

Dear Dr Bhatia

Thank you for your email of 31 August 2012 when you requested the minutes
of all NHS Hampshire/SHIP Primary Care ICT Strategy Board meetings held on
or between 26^th January 2012 and 31^st August 2012.

There was 1 Primary Care ICT Strategy Board meeting during this period
before the strategy board was dissolved and 1 meeting of the new, IT
Services Steering Group that superseded it; I am pleased to attach the
minutes of both these meetings and associated documentation on behalf of:

o Hampshire PCT

Please find attached a copy of minutes of the Primary Care IT Strategy
Board held on the 25th April.  In conjunction with the CCG IT leads a
decision was made to disband this group and to merge with the "SHIP
Cluster and SHIP Area CCGs Information and IT Services Steering Group".
This group met on the 27th June and I attach a copy of the agenda.  The
minutes are currently in draft form and will be available after approval
at the September meeting.  I am more the happy to send a copy of the
approved minutes following the meeting if required.
