Hi Samantha,

Thank you for your reply. I believe NGBs were funded differently after the Whole Sport Plan Funding structure which ended in March 2017. I am looking for a complete overview of what funding was allocated to each individual NGB from April 2017 onwards as part of the new funding investment scheme which is detailed on the website address below from your website archive:

http://web.archive.org/web/2017040614281...

Information was published in a number of decision rounds which I have information of for December 2016, February 2017 and March 2017 but I am unsure if any further details were published - Therefore I am trying to request a full breakdown of the funding provided to each NGB as part of this new funding investment.

Yours sincerely,

Miss Hughes

Dear Miss Hughes

Thank you for your clarification email in which you request information
regarding NGB funding from April 2017. Your email was received on 15
February 2021 and has been passed to the Information Governance Team as we
are responsible for responding to requests for information held by Sport
England.

As a public body, Sport England is subject to the terms of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004
and we will handle your request in accordance with their terms. We will
provide you with our full response promptly and usually within twenty
working days. In some circumstances we may extend this to allow us to
consider the public interest; if this is necessary in your case I will
write to you again and explain why.

At this stage it is important to advise you that Sport England, just like
many other organisations and the nation generally, is dealing with the
severe impact of the coronavirus pandemic on human, physical and

of our timescales. Should this affect the delivery of a response to your
request we will advise you and request an extension.

I will be in touch again in due course and in any event not later than 15
March 2021.

In the meantime, please feel free to contact us if we can be of any

Dear Miss Hughes

I write further to your request below for information. We have now
considered your request and I have set out our response below.

We consider that the information you are seeking is exempt from disclosure
under Section 21 of the Freedom of information Act 2000 on the grounds
that it is reasonably accessible to you via other means.

The information you have requested is already available on Sport England’s
website at [1]https://www.sportengland.org/why-were-here in the ‘What
we’ve funded’ section, you will see a spreadsheet embedded into the page.
You can download this spreadsheet. This spreadsheet contains all of our
awards dated back to 2009 from any organisation that we have funded
including NGB’s. The spreadsheet has filters across the top, you will need
to filter the organisation tab to include NGB’s only (column M). You will
need to add further filters on the programme name.

In order to assist you we have provided the attached spreadsheet which
includes most of the information you are seeking. As you can see our
investments into NGB’s vary widely, the programme names usually indicate a
different purpose for the investment. There will have been other awards
made to NGB’s during the same period. We publish all of our awards data
for all our applicants every quarter and this is always publicly available
on our website.

This completes our response to your information request.

As a public body, Sport England is subject to the terms of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 and this means you are entitled to complain if you
are unhappy with the way we have handled your information request and/or
ask us to review our decision.

If you would like to complain about the way we have handled your request
or ask for our decision to be reviewed please contact:
[2][Sport England request email]

Please describe your original request, explain your grounds for
dissatisfaction and include an address for correspondence. All internal
reviews are carried out by a colleague who has not previously been
involved in the handling of your information request. We aim to complete
internal reviews within twenty working days.

If you are not content with the outcome of our Internal Review you have
the right to appeal to the Information Commissioner. Generally speaking
the Information Commissioner will not be able to consider an appeal unless
you have first exhausted the Internal Review procedure provided by Sport
England.

The Information Commissioner can be contacted at:
