nformation Access Request - Information Request DMBCIR:18236 Description : CCTV footage

Dudley Council did not have the information requested.

Dear Dudley Council,

Thank you very much for your quick response -to my request I did try replying to it but it wouldn't work so I have had to send this new request .

If it is the case that a third parties details can not be given to me ,I would request that the information be given to the police please .The incident was reported to them straight away -luckily for me I managed to.flag one of the police cars down -a bulletin was put out straight away for the BMW that caused the incident to no avail . I do have a police log number if you choose to do this.
We do not know what the intention was from the people in the BMW , I was alone in my car .Thankfully I didn't get to find out , however I think it would not have been a lawful act , due to them driving away after seeing the police car and witness.
Any help would be appreciated with this matter .

Yours sincerely,

Angela johnson

Dear Angela Johnson,

Freedom Of Information Act 2000 - Information Request 18291

Your request for information received on 13/08/2018 has now been
considered.

Your request and our response.

I am interested in local authority owned and operated CCTV cameras.

For each CCTV camera that is owned and/or operated by Dudley Council I
would like the following data please or a car registration number

Location – Castle gate island traffic lights for the part of the road that
leads onto Duncan Edwards way   coming up past Tesco on Friday 3rd August
between 5.25 pm and 6.00pm

The footage is of a BMW that caused an incident between myself and them
-they initially stopped to exchange details with me in a secluded spot,
but on realising there was a witness and two police cars they drove off
without me getting their information.

As I drove onto Duncan Edwards way the car concerned a grey BMW moved over
to the right lane .But later drove in front of me and behind me, It
followed me down the dual carriageway towards Blackacre Road, causing
whereupon we collided. My vehicle is a silver Vauxhall insignia .

All I need is the registration of this car. For police and insurance
purposes .

If possible I would like this to be in a format that can be re-used. Such
as a photograph or still of the video

If it is the case that a third parties details cannot be given to me ,I
would request that the information be given to the police please .The
incident was reported to them straight away -luckily for me I managed to
flag one of the police cars down - a bulletin was put out straight away
for the BMW that caused the incident to no avail . I do have a police log
number if you choose to do this.
We do not know what the intention was from the people in the BMW , I was
alone in my car .Thankfully I didn't get to find out , however I think it
would not have been a lawful act , due to them driving away after seeing
the police car and witness.

I can confirm that no CCTV Footage is held by Dudley MBC for the above.

I apologise that your request cannot be met but if you have any further
information needs in the future then please contact me.
