Thank you for your request for information made under the Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA) 2000, relating to newspapers notices. I am pleased
to provide the response below:

 

With the closure of the Kent on Sunday newspaper can you please advise
where the notices you used to place in this newspaper will now be
published.

Kent County Council advertises all its Public and Statutory Notices under
a Framework Agreement (SS16067 — Public and Statutory Notices). This
contract is currently held by the Kent Messenger Group and started in July
2017. The Framework runs for two years with an option to extend for a
further year.

I hope this is of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us if you
require any further assistance.

 

If you are unhappy with this response, and believe KCC has not complied
with legislation, please ask for a review by following our complaints

I can confirm that the Kent Messenger Group is contractually obliged to
put our notices in all editions of their newspapers within the Kent area.
