New director

Waiting for an internal review by Tower Hamlets Borough Council of their handling of this request.

Hi,

I understand the Council has a new Director - Tom Mccourt. http://www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/lgnl/coun...

Can you please provide details of the Recruitment Exercise that was undertaken for this post? Where was it advertised, who was on the Interview Panel, how many candidates were considered etc?

Can you please also provide me with details of the Council Cabinet/Committee/Sub-Committee meetings where the vacancy was discussed? Dates, times, agendas, attendees, minutes please. Where would vacancies at Director level normally be discussed/recruitment agreed?

Please provide details of how this role fits into the Council's Senior Management structure? Why are there now two Directors for the Places Department (Tom Mccourt and Anne Sutcliffe) and how is this Value for Money for Ratepayers?

What are the teams in the Places Department? What is the split of responsibility between Mr Mccourt and Ms Sutcliff?

Thanks,

Jonathan

I wonder who is now head of legal? Graham White was also doing that job as he replaced Galpin than Clay died.

Still a bit confused. Who does what? How long is McCourt there for?

They answer the questions they want to answer sometimes.

I've finally worked out how to do an annotation!

Yes, they often appear to answer the questions they wish they had received, rather than the actual questions they've received.
