Thank you for your request for information regarding road signs showing 'Cumbria', received 18/07/2022. 
 
Unfortunately we are unable to proceed with your request at this time because of the reasons outlined below. 
Information not held. 
 
Cumbria County Council wil  cease to exist from 01 April 2023. From this date, the responsibility for road
signage wil  fal  to the relevant Local Authority (either Cumberland Council or Westmorland and Furness
Council). 
 
Please note: the county of Cumbria wil  continue to exist as a ceremonial boundary after the two new unitary
authorities come into place.
