Nepal request

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Foreign and Commonwealth Office should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Foreign and Commonwealth Office,

Please could I see all documents, reports and correspondence relating to the project undertaken by Strategic Communication Laboratories (SCL) or Behavioural Dynamics or Harrington Oakes in Nepal including project description, outcomes, dates, information about individuals who worked on the project and how much the contract was funded for. I believe it would have been between 1989 and 1995.

Yours faithfully,

Dr Emma L Briant

FOI-DPA PMCS (Sensitive),

Dear Dr Briant

Thank you for your email to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO)
requesting information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

In order for us to be able to assist you with your request and best direct
any search please could you refine the scope of your request.

As currently drafted your request is too broad and we would be unable to
proceed with it.

Would it be possible for you to refine your request and specify a
particular 3 year timeframe in the first instance for the correspondence
you are seeking?

Once we receive your revised request we will consider it and the
appropriate course of action.

Yours sincerely
