Dear Mr Thompson

Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Release of Information

Subject: Neighbourhood Partnership Care at Home Providers

Thank you for your request for information of 25/01/2018 where you asked
for a breakdown of details relating to the above subject. Your request has
been processed and considered under the Freedom of Information (Scotland)
Act 2002 and the information is provided below. I shall address each part
of your request in turn.

You asked for the following:

A breakdown of preferred and contracted care at home providers for older
people within each Neighbourhood Partnership Area.

The response has been broken down by Contract Area. There are 11 Contract
areas. The Contract Areas are based on Neighbourhood Partnerships and have
the similar names to Neighbourhood Partnerships, but the City Centre
Neighbourhood Partnership area has been divided amongst the Contract Areas
for the other Neighbourhood Partnerships and is therefore not shown
separately.

The number of hours contracted to;

a) preferred providers

We do not have ‘Preferred Providers’, we have a designated Partner
Provider for each Contract Area. The column in the table below labelled a)
displays the number of hours of care at home for older people (65 years
and over) to be delivered by a Provider who is not a Partner Provider.

b) contracted providers for care at home in each Neighbourhood Partnership
Area

The column in the table below labelled b) displays the total number of
care at home hours to be delivered to older people (65 years and over) by
Partner Providers. Where deemed appropriate, Partner Providers may also
deliver a care at home service to people slightly under 65 years of age.
These hours are not included in the table.

For clarity, the contracted number of hours for b) has been broken down
further as follows:

i)              Contracted hours for older people supported by the
designated Partner Provider for the Contract Area

ii)             Contracted hours for older people supported by a Partner
Provider who is not the designated Partner Provider for the Contract Area

iii)            Contracted hours for older people supported by Innovation
Providers. Innovation Providers do not have a designated Contract Area,
but are considered to be Partner Providers)

over) broken down by Contract Area:
