Dear Middle Level Commissioners,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Middle Level Commissioners's handling of my FOI request 'Navigation Advisory Committee'.

Contrary to your assertion, I have made an extensive search of the Middle Level Commissioners' website https://middlelevel.gov.uk/ and none of the information that I have requested is "already available on your website".

In addition, the Freedom of Information Act 2000 does not permit a public body to refuse to provide information requested on the grounds that

".. in this instance, as the list of information requested is extensive, it will require extra time to collate and respond to this. This is due to government instructions on actions which should be taken to reduce the spread of COVID19, which for us, like many organisations is having a significantly disrupting effect on some areas of our operations".

Whilst I understand that the Covid-19 pandemic means that you might take extra time to collate the information that I requested, you are not entitled to simply refuse to provide the information on the grounds of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Please provide the information that I requested regarding the Navigation Advisory Committee within 20 working days.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/n...

Thank you. I look forward to your reply.

Yours faithfully,
