The request was successful.

Dear Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service,

Can I have a list of names and work emails of everyone in the position of Assistant Group Commander and every rank above that?

I'm only looking for the Derry/Londonderry stations.

If you have any issues providing this, please respond back and we can work out a solution.

Yours faithfully,

Aodhán Robertson

Hi Aodhán

I have dealt with your request under normal course of business. Please note that NIFRS do not have anyone of the rank of AGC or above on stations .

Regards

Ruth

Dear Grogan, Ruth,

I was under the impression that there was someone based in each station - obviously not the higher ranks.

Instead of Derry/Londonderry stations, what about the entire Western Region?

Yours sincerely,

Aodhán R

Hi Aodhán

I have been advised that a Watch Commander is the highest rank on the stations and in relation to Western Area the number of officers at AGC and above rank are as follows:

Area Commander -1
Group Commanders -3
Assistant Group Commander -1

In relation to the officers names and email addresses I have been advised by NIFRS Information & Security Officer of the following:

Personal data is defined by the GDPR any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. So, for example, “[email address]” would most likely be considered “personal data” governed by the GDPR whereas “[email address]” would not.

Therefore I have provided you with the generic email address which is on NIFRS website - [email address]. or alternatively with your permission I could pass your details onto one of the officers in Western Area if you need their help and they could contact you directly.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

Regards

Ruth
