Dear FOI,
Thank you for providing a link to Companies House register that confirms that Mr Michael Abram Goldstein is a director of Myers Clark Business Recovery Limited appointed on the incorporation date 30 May 2017. Is he listed on your Insolvency practitioners directory as a insolvency practitioner working for this company, because I can find no insolvency practitioners listed on your insolvency practitioners directory any other insolvency practitioners listed for this company and you appear to be confused as to the information that is required under the FOIA.
To be clear, the only insolvency practitioners that are show on your insolvency practitioners directory that has not been up dated are (MR JAMES PAUL SHAW without an authorising body listed ) (MR MICHAEL GOLDSTEIN) both resigned directors listed for MYERS CLARK LIMITED, which is a different company. The link to this company is below and shows that Mr Paul James Shaw resigned on 31 March 2017 and Mr Michael Abram Goldstein resigned on 23 November 2017.

Dear FOI
Why are the Insolvency Service giving out the wrong information on your Practitioners Insolvency register?
Myers Clark Business Recovery Limited is not a trading name of Myers Clark Ltd, it is a separate limited company registered with Companies House.
I want to know why your Insolvency Practitioners list has not been updated when you are aware that Michael Abram Goldstein is no longer a director of Myers Clark Limited therefor is no longer works as an insolvency practitioner for this limited company.
I would also like to know why Michael Abram Goldstein who resigned as a director of Myers Clark Ltd ( chartered accountants) is still showing as a director on their website. When he resigned as a director of Myers Clark Limited and appears to be still using their email.
Myers Clark Business Recovery Limited is a different company not the same limited company as Myers Clark Limited.
Yours sincerely,
Ed Boyce
Dear FOI,
Please clarify why the Insolvency Service has still not up-dated your insolvency practitioners register after giving out false information claiming that Myers Clark Business Recovery Ltd is just a trading name of Myers Clark Ltd , when it is in fact a separate registered company at Companies House.
Mr James Paul Shaw whose occupation was listed as a Chartered Accountant in his role as director at Myers Clark Ltd up until 31 March 2017 when he retired , he was also removed from office as joint trustee by order of the High Court (Chancery Division) Birmingham District Registry on the 8 May 2017 as listed in the London Gazette and his cases transferred solely to Michael Abram Goldstein who is listed on the public notice as MABRP Licensed Insolvency Practitioner at Myers Clark.
Michael Abram Goldstein was previously registered as holding the role of director at Myers Clark Ltd whose occupation WAS listed as an insolvency practitioner for this company up until 23 November 2017 when he resigned as director.
Michael Abram Goldstein role and occupation is listed as a director but not as an insolvency practitioner at Myers Clark Business Recovery Ltd from 30 May 2017 and your department have still not up-dated your records.
Yours sincerely,
Ed Boyce
Dear FOI,
Can you please answer the question as to why your insolvency register is not updated to show which company you have listed Michael Abram Golstein Insolvency Practitioner under Myers Clark Ltd or Myers Clark Business Recovery Ltd that both use the same trading name 'Myers Clark' ?
Listing only the trading name in the insolvency register that has not changed could be misconstrued and/ or misleading if it does not reflect any company changes.
Yours sincerely,
Ed Boyce

The Insolvency Practitioners Register must contain accurate details, especially when insolvency practitioners resign as directors or set up and become a director of a new company with a similar sounding name at the same registered address.
How many solicitor firms have sent out documentation on their behalf using the old name "Myers Clark", which is only part of a new limited company name called Myers Clark Business Recovery Limited.
How many solicitors firms on their behalf have sent out documentation pertaining to " joint insolvency practitioners being trustees" when they are no longer joint trustees because one has retired.
