Reg 4 JSA (Schemes for assisting persons to obtain employment) regs 2013 SI no276 gives the DM discretionary power to send any claimant on a scheme-like all such powers this discretion should be exercised rationally, reasonable and on the based on circumstances of each individual case.
Please provide ALL relevant memos, examples and guidance with respect to exercising this discretion.

The Jobseeker’s Allowance (Mandatory Work Activity Scheme) Regulations 2011 Reg 3(1)gives the DM discretionary power to send any claimant
