Mutual Exchange

The request was successful.

Dear Islington Borough Council,

1. I was told that only Islington Council's secure tenants are allowed to swap? Is it true?
2. How can I check what tenancy does the person have with whom I want to swap?
3. When is the last time when I can change my mind? Can I cancel the home swap after 42 days on the day just before signing new tenancy agreement and getting keys from new flat?
4. Can I add my brother, as a joint tenant, during mutual exchange process?
5. Can I do the Right to Buy valuation straightaway after the swap or do I need to wait for one year?
6. If I did not like the flat after the swap, can I start swapping again or do I need to wait for one year?

Yours faithfully,

Kate Clarks
