Dear Sinead Quinn,

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request on 14 September 2021, in which you requested to see information on funding, and all monies, provided to Museum of Free Derry and The Bloody Sunday Trust.

Please find attached a table detailing the information requested.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund has awarded funding to The Bloody Sunday Trust for:

1. Museum of Free Derry project. The awards were for: redevelopment and extension of the museum, improvement of facilities and to increase access to its collections.

2. Heritage and Programmes Development project. The award was for: development of a series of initiatives to collect oral histories, deliver exhibitions, talks, workshops and discussions, working with the local community, schools and volunteers.

3. Heritage Emergency Funding (HEF). HEF grants were for organisations that had previously received our funding and were at risk due to the emerging coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Grants covered essential costs for the next four months to help organisations deal with immediate risks and become more stable and look towards longer-term recovery.

4. Heritage Recovery Fund Northern Ireland (HRFNI). HRFNI grants were to help organisations recover from the economic impact of COVID-19 and to make sure that they were financially viable in the future.

I hope you find this information useful but if you do have any other questions please do let me know.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to request an internal review of our decision please contact [email address]. If you were then not content with the outcome of the internal review you have the right to appeal to the Information Commissioner's Office (https://ico.org.uk/).

Best wishes,
