Your request has been treated under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
2000 and I insert my response below to each of your questions.
1. What services are included in the contract(s)? (e.g. printing vs
scanning etc).
The Government Property Agency (GPA) supply Salix with an MFD and have a
client engagement agreement. We are able to print and scan, and are
covered for consumables, maintenance and repairs.
2. Which supplier is delivering them? (If in-house, please confirm or if
multiple provider please identify them)
The Government Property Agency (GPA).
3. How many contracts does this entail and what's the award value for
each?
One payment of £3,686 and this is a one-off onboarding cost.
4. When do these contracts expire and do they have any extensions?
The lease agreement is between GPA and Konica Minolta, Salix does not have
a lease liability for the service.
5. What is the annual volumetric data (split by Annual Mono and Annual
Colour print)?
We do not yet have this information.
6. What is the total number of devices supplied?
One device.
7. What Managed Print Service software solution do you use?
GovPrint.
8. How many Mono MFDs and Colour MFDs do you have?
One
9. What document management solution do you use?
Secure print
10. What High Volume printing devices do you use?
Konica Minolta, Bizhub C450i
11. Were any framework agreements used to procure the goods/services? If
so, which ones?
No, the lease agreement is between GPA and Konica Minolta, Salix does not
have a lease liability for the service.

you have?
We have six Creative Cloud Professional Edition Licences in the
communications team, which incorporate Adobe Pro.
Acrobat reader is free and installed on all laptops (Around 120).
15. What is the annual cost? £5,356 (£446.34 / month)
16. When is the renewal date? Sept 2023
17. Who is responsible for the contract? Head of Communications
18. Do you use any other PDF editing tools? No
Appeals procedure
If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
