I would like to make the following requests regarding the admissions for the postgraduate MSc Course of Clinical Drug Development (FT) at Charterhouse Square Campus:

1. The total number of applicants for this course, in the previous years
2. The percentage of applicants who received offers
3. The most popular/common universities where the offer holders completed their undergraduate studies
4. The most common undergraduate degree course studied by the offer holders.

Dear Nimil Joshi,

Thank you for your email dated 17th April. I am pleased to provide the following response.

1. Total number of applications for the MSc Clinical Drug Development (FT):
2018/19 academic year: 128
2017/18 academic year: 99
2016/17 academic year: 75

2. Percentage of total applications to receive offers:
2018/19: 87.5%
2017/18: 88%
2016/17: 80%

3. We do not hold the information about where applicants have studied undergraduate degrees in a standard format or one single place. To obtain this information would take reviewing all individual records manually and compiling the data for hundreds of records. We estimate that to do so would exceed the appropriate limit as defined by the Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit) Regulations 2004. For your information this is £450, calculated as the estimated cost of one person spending 18 hours in determining whether the information is held, then locating, retrieving and extracting the information. Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 therefore makes provision for public authorities to refuse such requests.
