Dear Mr Oliver,
Your request was received on 2 August 2018 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000 (‘the Act’).
You asked:
I am writing to request the final results/degree classification of MPhil in Economics, MPhil in
Economics and Finance, and MPhil in Economic Research students graduating from the
Department of Economics in 2015-2016 and 2016-2017.
This information is attached. Please note the following:
1. The data are as recorded in the University of Cambridge student records system (CamSIS),
as at 29/08/2018.
2. Where students had more than one result, as they were allowed to retake examinations, the
result from the most recent year is given, where those years are either 2015-16 or 2016-17.
3. MPhil courses are not classed, and the result supplied is as per that recorded in CamSIS.
Please note that the attached document should not be copied, reproduced or used except in
accordance with the law of copyright.
If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a
complaint or request an internal review of this decision, you should contact us quoting the reference
number above. The University would normally expect to receive your request for an internal review
within 40 working days of the date of this letter and reserves the right not to review a decision where
there has been undue delay in raising a complaint. If you are not content with the outcome of your
review, you may apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the
Information Commissioner cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints
