Thank you for your request for information as copied below.  You asked for
the number of individuals and job titles of all staff working for Mark
Harper MP in his constituency office, Westminster office or any other
place where he employs staff.

 

The House of Commons holds some information about individuals working for
Mark Harper MP.

 

Members' staff who hold a parliamentary pass sponsored by an MP are
required to register outside employment advantaged by their parliamentary
pass. These interests are published in the Register of Interests of
Members' Secretaries and Research Assistants and is available to view on
the parliamentary website. A copy of the current Register of Interests of

As this information is reasonably accessible to you otherwise than under
the Freedom of Information Act 2000 your FOI request is refused. In
refusing your request the House is applying the exemption set out in
section 21 (1) and (2) (a) of the FOI Act.  This is an absolute exemption
and the public interest test does not apply.

 

The House of Commons does not hold any further information about the
number of individuals and job titles of staff working for Mark Harper MP. 
You may wish to consider contacting Mr Harper to ask for the information
you seek, contact details are available at:

of Parliament are not public authorities for the purposes of the Freedom
of Information Act.  This means that they are not obliged to respond to
requests made under the Act.  Similarly, the Act does not apply to
political parties.

of Lords are listed as institutions covered by the Act.  In addition,
information held by government offices in relation to ministerial
activities and responsibilities will also be subject to the Act’s
