Strategy Team - Information, Poole Borough Council

Dear Mr Lewis

Thank you for your request submitted under the Freedom of Information Act.

We do not keep a full record of boat movements because we do not record those that come and go under the bridges without them being opened.

We do keep records of how many boats go through the bridges when lifted, but if they go through both bridges they get counted twice, those that go under one bridge but not the other so are only counted once.

We are not sure whether or not this information will be sufficient for your request.

Kind regards

Dear Mr Lewis

The attached spreadsheet shows the number of vessels which moved through when the bridges are raised.

The vessel movements through each bridge are separate so if a vessel goes through both bridges it is counted twice.

Regards

Sue Hill
