Motorcycle Theft Processes and Procedures
Dear West Yorkshire Police,
Please provide the following:
The procedures and processes followed when a motorcycle is reported as stolen, from the initial report and recording up to and including the decision to hand it over to the CPS or to discontinue the case
Criteria used to decide whether such investigations should be discontinued, investigated further or handed over to the CPS for prosecution
Criteria used to decide if there is enough evidence to progress a motorcycle theft case
Arrangements for sharing information and intelligence about motorcycle theft with other WYP divisions and other forces
Numbers of sanctions issued under civil injunctions covering antisocial motorcycle riding
