Motorcycle Theft Procedures and Processes
Dear Metropolitan Police Service (MPS),
Please provide the processes and procedures followed when a motorcycle is reported as stolen, from the initial report through to closing the case or to prosecution. This should include the criteria used to progress to each stage of the investigation and the rank or grade of the member of staff responsible for doing so.
