Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Mortality statistics'.
I am requesting internal review having clarified a reduction is acceptable for dwp to supply.it will only cover a year in theory as we have stats until 2015. Its above normal waiting time for a response.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/m...

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Mortality statistics'.
I would like the mortality statistics from 2015/2016/7 there is no valid reason to withhold such information given previous public interest directions from previous court proceedings. I am willing to accept that stats from 2015/2016 may be maximum that fits within the £600 limit. The information is long overdue and I look forward to receiving such information from the DWP.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Mortality statistics'.
This is long overdue and I had responded as requested which stats I wanted in November2017. We are now in February 2018 and think the department should have gathered the information. So will you please give this your urgent attention. I look forward to your response

Sadly the DWP has considerable form for simply ignoring requests for information until the ICO becomes involved. Rather than wait another month I suggest you complain to the ICO immediately. If the DWP provides the data before the ICO takes action then you 've lost nothing but it does add another failure to comply with the FOIA by the DWP to an ever growing list that the ICO should be monitoring.
