I have also directed you to some other specific pages where the answers to
the points you have raised can be found.

Certificate of good standing

Certificates of good standing are only valid for three months from the
date that they are issued. The list of organisations around the world who
can issue a certificate of good standing can be found at
[2]https://www.gmc-uk.org/registration-and-...

Doctor are asked to list any countries where they practised or held
registration or a licence to practise in the last five years. A
certificate of good standing is required from all of the countries within
that time frame. The certificate must:

o cover all of the work in that country/state
o confirm that they were entitled to practise medicine in that country
o confirm that they have not been disqualified, suspended or prohibited
from practising medicine
o confirm that the regulatory authority is not aware of any matters that
call into question their good standing.

Information about certificates of good standing can be found at
[3]https://www.gmc-uk.org/registration-and-....

Other activities and fitness to practise

As part of the application, the activities that the applicant provides of
the last five years include:

o health conditions
o cautions and convictions
o fixed penalty notices and penalty notices for disorder
o action taken against you by a medical school or employer
o clinical negligence and medical negligence claims.

The applicant self-declares their activities and fitness to practise.

More details about this can be found at
[4]https://www.gmc-uk.org/registration-and-....

Depending on what the applicant declares in their application, further
information/documents may be requested. The answers given at this stage of
the application are valid for three months. If the application takes more
than three months to complete, the application will be asked to answer the
questions again.

Applicants are asked to make a declaration that the information they have
provided is true.  The GMC’s core guidance [5]good medical practice
includes standards of honesty and integrity, that applicants should follow
in their application and beyond.
