I write in response to your email of 10 July 2018 regarding your request
for information made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to the
Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO).

 

Please find attached Excel spreadsheet detailing the financial
transactions over £500 for the PHSO since April 2018.  

 

A small number of names have been withheld and replaced with their company
name under Section 40(2) as this constitutes personal information.
Disclosure of such information would breach principle (a) of Article 5(1)
of GDPR where personal data must be processed fairly and lawfully.
Furthermore, the conditions as set out in Article 6 1(f) of the GDPR are
not met. We do not consider it would be fair to disclose this information
and nor would the individuals concerned have a reasonable expectation that
such personal information would be disclosed.

 

If you believe we have made an error in the way I have processed your
information request, it is open to you to request an internal review.  You
can do this by writing to us by post or by email to

nature of the issue is and we can consider the matter further. Beyond
that, it is open to you to complain to the Information Commissioner’s
