Dear General Medical Council,

Now that it has been confirmed that the GMC employs a “social media specialist”, please advise the brief provided to said specialist in terms of:

- what subject matter should be monitored.

It appears that all the quotes made public are from doctors, ignoring those of, for example, members of the public, of which there are many. Please explain the rationale for this targeting and the purpose of identifying dissident doctors.

Yours faithfully,

Susan Sollazzi
