Money spent on flood defences across Poole
Dear Poole Borough Council,
I would like to know how much has been spent on flood defences over the last 5 years. In addition, I would also like to find out how much the council has spent repairing flood damages.
Yours faithfully,
Lauren Simmons

Please find below our response to your FOI ref 633.
Over the last 5 years, the council has spent £2,754,000 on the business case production, design and delivery of capital flood defence schemes. The funding for these schemes has been via flood defence grant in aid after successfully bidding for funds from central government. Over the same time period, the council has also spent a total of £86,062 on the maintenance of flood defence assets.
