Money spent on flood defences across South Norfolk

The request was partially successful.

Dear South Norfolk District Council,

I would like to know how much has been spent on flood defences over the last 5 years. In addition, I would also like to find out how much the council has spent repairing flood damages.

Yours faithfully,

Andrea Swan

Dear Andrea

I refer to your Freedom of Information request to which I am now in a
position to respond.

Funding for the area is generally administered by the Regional Flood and
Coastal Committee (RFCC) – further info at:

However to be thorough in our response, we can advise that we have spent
the following on sand bags:

2018/19 £460 to date
2017/18 £920
2016/17 £1289
2015/16 £1725
2014/15 £1380
2013/14 £1800

I hope this is of assistance and is sufficient to meet your requirements,
but if, for whatever reason you wish to get back to me, please feel free
to do so. In particular if you are unhappy with the information provided
or how your request was handled please let me know and I will explain how
you can request an internal review of our decision.

Please quote FOI 18-460 in any further correspondence concerning this
request.
