Modern Foreign Language A-Levels
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my enquiry as specifically as possible. If however this request is too wide or unclear, I would be grateful if you would contact me as I understand that under the Act, you are required to advise and assist requesters. Please send via email in Excel or similar format within 20 working days.

1. Do you offer at least one foreign language A-Level course for 16-19-year-olds?

- 1.3. How many students aged 16-19 currently take each foreign language course (breakdown by language if multiple)?
- 1.4. How many students aged 16-19 currently take any foreign language course in total?
2. If you do not currently offer a foreign language A-Level, did you previously? If so, what year was that stopped?

A Level French students – less than 10
A Level Spanish students - less than 10
Other courses- French / Spanish are offered as part of the International
Baccalaureate programme at our Taunton Campus, there are French (less than
10) and Spanish (19)
2. If you do not currently offer a foreign language A-Level, did you
previously? If so, what year was that stopped? N/A
