Dear Mr Smith

The date that the response is due for your request, FOI2020/10928, has
been changed to 24 November 2020.

Kind Regards

Defence Digital Secretariat

To Whom it May Concern,

I believe that this doesn't fall under the exemptions you claim as I have had some maps and drawings released in previous requests and am looking for updated versions of those with additional sites.

I believe that Corsham cannot answe for Chilmark and Drakelow as those are controlled under different sectors.

I'm requesting a formal review of this request.

Yours sincerely,

Joe

Dear Mr Smith,

Thank you for your email requesting an internal review of FOI2020/10928.

We can advise you that we would not normally conduct an internal review until a substantive response has been provided by the relevant MOD business unit. It appears in this case that you have received notice on 23 October 2020 that Defence Digital Secretariat is considering the use of exemptions that require public interest testing. You are due to receive a substantive response by 24 November 2020. If, on receipt of the substantive response, you remain dissatisfied with the outcome, please contact us again and we will undertake an independent internal review.

Under the Freedom of Information Act, you have an absolute right to appeal to the Information Commissioner under the provisions of section 50 of the Act, regardless of whether the public authority concerned has complied with section 1 or provided an internal review.

Yours sincerely,

MOD Information Rights Compliance Team

Dear CIO-FOI-IR (MULTIUSER),

Whilst I appreciate your reply I wholy believe that this request does not fall under the exemptions they are claiming and does not require a PIT extension as I have had exactly the same data released in a previous request before. I am simply asking for some updated information.

I believe there is another reason behind the exemptions and if you can provide me with contact information I can provide some personal information that'll allow you to see the previous request I made and discuss this further in private.

Yours sincerely,

Joe

Dear Defence Infrastructure Organisation,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Defence Infrastructure Organisation's handling of my FOI request 'MOD Mines Information'.

I am at a loss as to why now you are claiming exemptions to this request when the same request has been made by myself in the past and details and drawings released, this facility is long declassified and there are plenty of sites with information regarding it online.

I'm simply updating a personal history project and feel that this request has been denied wrongly.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/m...

Yours faithfully,

Joe

Dear Mr Smith,

Receipt is acknowledged of your email in which you have requested an internal review of the handling of your request under the FOI Act, reference FOI2020/10928.

The Department's target for completing internal reviews is 20 working days from date of receipt and we therefore aim to complete the review and respond to you by 2 December 2020. While we are working hard to achieve this, in the interests of providing you with a realistic indication of when you should expect a response, the majority are currently taking between 20 and 40 working days to complete. The review will involve an independent assessment of the handling of this request and the outcome.

We should also advise that the measures implemented by the Department to prevent the spread of COVID-19 may continue to impact upon our ability to complete the review within the above timescale but we will aim to provide you with an update, if necessary.

Yours sincerely,

MOD Information Rights Compliance Team
