Dear Bolton Borough Council

How much money was spent on mobile phones for Bolton Council staff from the 1 April 2006 to the 1 April 2011? Please include the line rental and the VAT in the total cost as well as the internet usage and telephone calls.

How many Bolton Council staff are provided with Blackberry mobile phones?

Please name all of the makes and models of mobile phones provided for Bolton staff and name the amount of mobiles provided for Bolton staff. For example model Nokia 8 amount xxx.

How many Bolton Council staff are provided with a Laptop? What measures are in place to ensure the laptop is not “mislaid” or misused?

A4        1169 laptops, all laptops have encryption installed, staff are
subject to ICT Acceptable Use Policy and Information Security Policy
