ML16 and LLK1 Statistics
Dear London School of Economics,
I am writing to submit a formal request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
A) I would like to request the following data pertaining to the BSc International Social and Public Policy with Economics program for the years 2019-2024.
1. Offer Holders:
The predicted A-Level grades and achieved grades of all offer holders, including subject combinations, for home, international, and overall offer holders.
2. Applicants:
The predicted A-Level grades and achieved grades of all applicants, including subject combinations, for home, international, and overall applicants.
B) I would like to request the same as above for BA Anthropology and Law program for the years 2019-2024.
I kindly request that the data be broken down by each year from 2019 to 2024 and A-Levels and International A-Levels, where available.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response within the statutory 20 working days.
Yours faithfully,
Martyn Coventry
Thank you for your email. Please consider this as confirmation that your
request has been received and will be processed in line with statutory
deadlines. If there are any delays in responding we will let you know.
Hi Martyn,
Further to your recent FoI request, the School's response is attached. You will find the following documents attached:
1. A Levels achieved for applicants and offer holders for LLK1
2. Predicted A Levels for applicants and offer holders for LLK1
3. A Levels achieved for applicants and offer holders for ML16
4. Predicted A Levels for applicants and offer holders for ML16
Please note the Course Breakdown sheet will contain more records than the A Levels Achieved/Predicted A Levels tab due to students often taking multiple A Levels. For instance, in the LLK1 A Levels Achieved tab, there were 2,334 total applications between 2019 and 2024, with 9,051 A Levels achieved. This is because the first student, for example, achieved 3 A Levels, grouped by the qualification description—in this case, Reformed A Level England.
If you think that the information provided does not meet your request, contact Rachael Maguire at [email address] or write to Louise Nadal, School Secretary, London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, London, WC2A 2AE. We will then review the response to your request and get back to you within 20 working days. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office http://www.ico.gov.uk/, though they expect the internal review to be carried out before receiving a complaint directly.
