Dear Ministry of Defence,

In 2010 RTI/HAWK/059 was was raised following observations of cracking in the Top Cross Beam Block Assembly on the Hawk's Mk 10 ejection seat. Can you advise me, (a) Was the Hawk cracking problem applicable to Mk10 seats in other aircraft, and if so, which ones? (b) Were the respective DAs involved in determining this? (c) If it was, then what was done about it?
