The request was successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

I request a copy of all regulations and procedures covering a joint claim for Universal Credit by a mixed-age couple, where one partner is of Pension Credit age, and the younger partner is of working- age.
In particular, what protections are in place to ensure that if a sanction is applied against the younger working-age partner, and their Universal Credit payment reduced, that this will not affect the Pension Credit payment made to the older, retired partner claiming
Pension Credit with no work-related requirements ?

Yours faithfully,

Jeff Smith
