Missing Episodes of Looked After Children
Dear Colchester Borough Council,
1) Please provide the number of children subject to Interim Care Order or Full Care Orders and/or legally classed as LAC that have been reported as 'missing' from their placement in the last 12 months.
2) Please provide the total number of times children subject to an interim care order or full care order and/or legally classed as LAC have been reported as 'missing' from their placement in the last 12 months.
3) Please provide your definition of 'missing' vs 'absent' from placement and whether you record data relating to the number of 'absent' episodes reported by persons responsible for children subject to an interim care order or full care order.
4) Please provide your internal policy/guidance/document on completing 'back to home' interviews which staff must follow for when a child has been reported as missing home but has now returned home.
