Missing documents for 4 NICE Appraisals

The request was successful.

Dear National Institute for Health and Care Excellence,

It has come to my attention that there are some documents missing for multiple appraisals. TA 566 and TA 77 are missing the ERG reports. Additionally, there are no FAD or ERG documents for TA 459 and TA 532 as these are no longer recommended by NICE. If possible could you upload and make available the original documents for these TAs?

Yours faithfully,

Debra Winberg

The Freedom of Information Act relates to recorded information held by a
public authority, at the time of the request. Please find below our
response to your request. Additional background information has also been
included (provided outside the scope of the FOI Act) to be helpful.

FOI Response, including additional background information

o ERG report for TA566

NICE does not hold an ERG report specifically developed for TA566.

TA566 was a partial update of earlier guidance [1]TA166. The development
of appraisal TA566 did not involve the creation of an ERG report. The aim
of the partial update was to consider wording in recommendation 1.5 of the
guidance and to do that, we required stakeholder submissions only.

The stakeholder submissions can be found within the [2]committee papers.

The ERG report produced for TA166 contains relevant information, and it is
accessible via [3]the National Archives website.

o ERG report for TA77

Please find attached a copy of this report.

o FAD and ERG for TA459

Our webpage for the topic of [4]collagenase clostridium histolyticum for
treating Dupuytren's contracture (TA459) explains “We have withdrawn the
guidance because collagenase clostridium histolyticum (Xiapex) is no
longer available in the UK”.

As per our standard processes, all guidance and background documents are
removed from our website once they are withdrawn.

The documents you have requested can be accessed from [5]the National
Archives website.

o FAD and ERG for TA532

Our webpage for the topic of [6]cenegermin for treating neurotrophic
keratitis (TA532) explains “We have withdrawn the guidance because
cenegermin (Oxervate) is no longer available in the UK”.

As per our standard processes, all guidance and background documents are
removed from our website once they are withdrawn.

The documents you have requested can be accessed from [7]the National
Archives website.
