Misconduct of Conwy Staff

The request was refused by Conwy County Borough Council.

Dear Conwy County Borough Council,

Did the health authority report incidents of alleged misconduct to Conwy Social Services regarding the misuse of health authority computer by a Conwy employee in 2008.

Did the health authority report that the alleged misconduct involved the Conwy employee logging onto the health authority computer using the identity of a health employee who had recently left their post and was searching non work related websites for up to 50 hours per month over a lengthy period of time.

Was the Conwy employee fraudulently accepting payment for approximately 50 hours per month whilst looking at the health authority computer.

Was the alleged identity fraud and financial fraud (accepting pay) reported to the Police.

Does Conwy continue to employee this employee.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Jones
