This is becoming a habit for Glasgow University. It pays its Principle hundreds of thousands of pounds and yet it is unable to manage itself in a manner that enables it to comply with its legal obligations. My last request took 43 days to answer, more than two times te legal limit. All I am asking for here is a number of committee minutes that presumably have alreaddy been written and approved and filed. Why can't it make these available under FOI within a four week period? I think Sir Muir should start earning his coin.

Dear Mr Armstrong

Further to your recent response that I sent regarding your Freedom of
Information Request, please accept my sincere apologies. It has just been
brought to my attention that the email I sent had Mr Walker instead of
your name.

Once again, my apologies for this error.

Kind regards

Dear Data Protection/FoI,

Thank you for your letter of 6 March 2009. Can you please advise me when you will be in a position to provide the information which I am seeking?

I don't know Mr Walker or why you sent him an email intended for me or whether you intend to send me the email that was wrongly sent to Mr Walker or even whether the email sent to Mr Walker had the information that I was seeking which you should have provided no later than 2 days ago in order to avoid being in breach of the law.

Yours sincerely,

William Armstrong

Dear Mr. Armstrong,

The email message sent earlier today constituted your Response to Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 Request - (FOI Ref: 2009/16-F0051003), relating to the minutes of the Audit Committee of the University of Glasgow. It was addressed to a Mr. Walker rather than yourself in error. As stated below please accept our apologies. For the avoidance of any further confusion, your response will be resent.
