Minutes of the board meeting where you discuss the Geffrye Statue

The request was successful.

Dear Geffrye Museum / Museum of the home

Could you please share the minutes of the board meeting where you discussed the results of your consultation around the Geffrye Statue in your grounds.

I'd like to see the minutes of the discussion, including the part of the discussion where you decided not to take the statue down, and your reasoning for this decision.

Please can you let us know if you held a vote on this, and if so, which board members voted in which way.

Yours faithfully,

Robin Priestley

Dear Robin,

Thank you for your request for information in this email and in your earlier email of the same date.

The Museum is not a public authority under the Freedom of Information Act and therefore not subject to it. However, we try to follow the principles set out in it.

In response to your requests:

1. The Minutes of the Board meeting will be published once they have been approved by the Board, which will be in September; we will send you a copy then.

2. The results and analysis from the public consultation which was submitted to the Board will be published later in September.

Yours,
