The request was successful.

Dear Lambeth Borough Council,

Please send me the agendas and minutes of all of the meetings held by the Lambeth Event Safety Advisory Group (LESAG) from August 1st 2017 up to the most recent that are available. If any of the minutes contain personal information that is not legal to release I will accept redacted versions so long as the redaction is no more than that required by law.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Lennard

Dear Jane Shields,

I'm sorry to see that the FoI department has not been able to supply a response within the 20 working days required by law. The sourcing of such minutes should be a very simple administrative matter, so can you please clarify the reason for any delay? Given the nature of your department's work I would presume you have a system of reminder triggers say 2 weeks and then 1 week before the deadline, giving staff the opportunity to chase up any recalcitrant departments.

Has there been a block on supplying the information by any councillor? I trust this latter question won't require a separate FoI request ;-)

Yours sincerely,

Peter Lennard

Dear Lambeth Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Lambeth Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Minutes of Lambeth Event Safety Advisory Group (LESAG) August 2017 to date'.

I have neither received the information requested nor an explanation for the long delay. My request should have been answered by 6th April so this request is many weeks overdue. Councillor Sonia Winifred wrote to me on 17th April: "I will make some enquiries on your behalf and ensure you receive a response as quickly as possible." after which I have heard nothing from either the Freedom of Information Department or Cllr Winifred.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/m...

Yours faithfully,

Peter Lennard

The LESAG (Lambeth Events Safety Advisory Group) agendas and minutes released and which you can download here, cover their meetings from 8th August 2017 to 6th February 2018 and appear to include all meetings within that date range, except one of the three meetings held on 6th February 2018, on the subject of Lambeth Country Show 2018, whose minutes may not have been ready at the time of my request. A ‘Table Top’ meeting’s minutes have been entirely redacted, almost certainly because, by the meeting's very nature, they would include details of emergency services’ responses to emergency scenarios.

Here is a Contents list of the documents provided, with their meeting dates. The agendas, also published, comprised no more than basic meeting announcements - subject, date, time and place - so I haven’t included them in this list.
