I am writing to request an internal review of my Freedom of Information request (reference IR1-4592629807) submitted on 11 September 2024, concerning the minutes, emails, and documents related to two specific meetings between the GMC and the RCGP.

By law, I should have received a response within 20 working days, which expired on 9 October 2024. It has now been over two months since the statutory deadline. Despite your initial acknowledgement and subsequent email on 16 September 2024, there has been no further communication or provision of the requested information.

I kindly ask that the internal review addresses the delay in responding to my request and ensures a full and prompt release of the requested information in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Thank you for your email. I’m sorry for the delay experienced in relation
to your information request, and that you have had to follow-up on this
matter. 

We have not progressed this request as promptly as required. Our handling
of this request has been impacted by some capacity issues on our part. We
